Counseling and Education Program

Counseling & Education Program
CCEC’s Counseling and Education Program provides direct, bi-lingual counseling services for low-income clients. Also offered are support groups, communication skills classes and public lectures/workshops. At S.B. Boys and Girls Club we provide weekly groups for girls (Girls Rule!) and boys (Boys Voices!).

Single Parent Project
We offer counseling for children and parents. Our Children’s Feelings and Single Parent Groups help both children and parents see that they are not alone.

Spanish Speaking Families Project
Along with counseling and parent support groups, Platicas de Familia, we provide a Communication Skills That Really Work class.

Peace Up!
We offer an interactive curriculum for 5th–12th grade students to address issues of harassment, bullying and violence. Utilizing games, role-plays, film, and class discussion students share their experiences and learn to build self-esteem. They practice listening skills, effective non-violent communication, and mediation tools.
